Here is a list of main events in Oslo in 2011:
- 17th February – 19th February: by:Larm - this is Scandinavia’s largest music convention. The concept is twofold: a festival part and a conference part. In all, there will be about 400 concerts during the years annual by:Larm
- 25th March – 3rd April: Oslo International Church Music Festival
- 20. April – 23. April: Inferno Metal Festival
- 04. June: MusicFest Oslo
- 09. June – 12. June: Norwegian Wood Eric Clapton opens Norwegian Wood Rock Festival
- 17. June – 26. June: Gay Pride day Oslo
- 18. June – 19. June: Oslo Medieval Festival
- 25. June: Extrema Outdoor - this is one of Europe’s most popular dance festivals, and in 2011 it comes back to Kalvøya outside Oslo. Extrema Outdoor is known for its intense festival experience, beautiful decorations, theatrical performances and great artists.
- 28. July – 31. July: The Mela Festival
- 10. August – 13. August: Oya Music Festival
- 15. August – 20. August: Oslo Jazz Festival
